The short answer

What matters for your decision

Hirebase describes a single-tenant deployment in the customer's own Microsoft Azure environment. A buyer should document subscription and region ownership, identity and access, networking, backups, monitoring, support access, change control, and operating responsibilities. Customer-controlled hosting does not itself prove a certification, a specific residency configuration, or a service commitment beyond the agreed contract.

Name the people and accounts

Record the customer subscription owner, identity administrator, network/security reviewers, deployment approver, operations contact, and Hirebase delivery contacts. Validate the exact tenancy and access design with both technical teams.

Define the responsibility boundary

A review matrix should cover identity, network, backups, monitoring, incident response, upgrades, secrets, support access, and retention. Mark the responsible party and evidence for each item; do not infer the split from Azure ownership alone.

Decide and verify the region

Select a region with the customer and validate where data is stored, processed, backed up, and accessed. Cloud region availability does not prove that the application is configured for a particular residency outcome.

Keep assurance claims evidence-based

Ask for the current architecture diagram, data-flow description, access model, and contract-specific controls. Do not treat single tenancy as a certification or as proof that every security obligation is met.

Where does Hirebase say it is deployed?

Hirebase describes deployment in the customer's own Microsoft Azure environment. Confirm the subscription and responsibility model in the architecture review.

Who owns the Azure subscription?

The published model places the deployment in the customer's Azure tenancy. Identify the customer's account owner and the Hirebase roles needed for deployment and support.

Does customer-controlled Azure guarantee data residency?

No. Select and verify the region and review storage, processing, backup, and access paths. Tenant ownership alone does not establish the configured data location.

Does single tenancy prove a security certification?

No. Single tenancy describes an architecture boundary; it does not establish SOC 2, ISO 27001, or another certification. Request current assurance evidence directly.

Which responsibilities should be assigned?

Assign owners for identity, networking, backups, monitoring, incident response, upgrades, support access, secrets, and retention. Confirm the division contractually and operationally.

How should access be reviewed?

List named roles, approval requirements, least-privilege access, review frequency, credential custody, and how temporary support access is granted and removed.

Can a buyer infer service levels from the deployment model?

No. Availability and support commitments belong to the signed service terms. Review the applicable SLA and operating responsibilities directly.

What should be approved before deployment?

Approve the architecture diagram, data flows, region, access plan, backup and monitoring responsibilities, change process, support model, and security review evidence.
